New Patients
Welcome to our Practice! We are glad you have chosen us to provide for your eye care needs. OcuSight Eye Care Center is a dedicated team of doctors, opticians, and staff pledged to maintain our long-standing tradition of providing a broad spectrum of outstanding routine and specialty eye care across all age ranges. We are proud to offer comprehensive eye care across most eye related specialties, as well as contact lens and optical services.
Depending on the complexity of your examination, you can expect your time in our office to be between 60 and 90 minutes. In addition to your exam, you may have additional tests performed to help us provide you with the highest level of care possible.
Since we are a full-service eye care practice, be sure to allow extra time to visit our optical shop where you’ll find the latest in fashion frames and lens technology. We have shopped our competitors to make sure we are offering the highest quality choices in frames and lenses at a competitive price. Many of our patients ask “why should I get my prescription filled at OcuSight?” The answer is simple. By allowing OcuSight to fill your prescription, you are completing the last part of the eye care circle. The same practice that wrote your eyeglasses prescription will fill the prescription. This guarantees you the ease of mind that should you have any questions with your glasses, your prescription, or need any adjustments in your lenses; we will stand behind the quality of our work.
In order to make your examination as thorough and individualized as possible, we ask that you do the following:
- Complete the new-patient information forms. Please bring them with you to your appointment. (see below)
- Bring your current insurance card(s)
As many of you know the insurance marketplace has evolved substantially over the past 10 years. We are no longer in a world of co-pays or no out of pocket. Instead, today we have insurances sold on the “exchange”; copays are substituted with High Deductibles. Because of these changes, it is each patient’s responsibility to know their health care benefits, co-pays, out of pocket responsibilities and allowances for eye related care. Due to the increased type of plans in the Rochester marketplace, OcuSight can no longer be responsible for being your primary resource for insurance questions. Certainly, we will try to help, but should you have any questions prior to your visit, please take the time to call your insurance’s member services (the number should be listed on your insurance card).
Again, we would like to thank you for choosing us and we look forward to the privilege of serving you.
